NCWNZ National Executive Meeting

The NCWNZ National Executive Meeting was held from the 18 - 20 September 2009 at the Brentwood Hotel in Wellington.

80 delegates and observers from all over NZ enjoyed 2 days of speakers, opportunities to discuss topics such as pay equity, the gender pay gap, saving for retirement and paid parental leave and overall health and wellbeing.

The Meeting was a great success, consisting of an exciting lineup of speakers, who stimulated discussion, and provided solutions.  NCWNZ business such as the passing of remits as well as the year's financial and annual reports were also presented and discussed.

The National Executive debated and passed four remits on; Assessing Individuals for Benefits, Signage for School Buses, Adult Community Education and Review of Allowance for Jury Duty. To find out more see Resolutions

The next National Executive Meeting will be held 2 - 4 September 2011 at the Brentwood Hotel, Kilbirnie, Wellington. (Please note that the NE Meeting is being held the weekend before the 2011 Rugby World Cup starts).
