November 2009 - Consultation Modules

Four consultation modules to support discussions at the regional consultation meetings and the preparation of submissions are currently being prepared. The first three modules will cover Articles three to sixteen.  The fourth module will focus on Article two.

Three of the four consultation modules are set for release before 18 December 2009. The fourth module will be released in June - July 2010.

The consultation modules will have the following structure:

A census form - this will be made available with the modules. This form will gather information on age, geographic location, sexual orientation, socio economics, educational background, ethnicity - a wide range of things that we can use to better identify the populations of women who are experiencing marginalisation, indirect discrimination.

The modules have been compiled when possible, based on commonalities of theme. This is to assist with focusing the input to meeting discussions and to enable specialists in the field to deal with their areas of interest.
